Singapore Changi Airport launches Beijing Olympic Games shopping promotion

(CAPA) Singapore Changi Airport, in collaboration with Visa International, officially launched a shopping promotion featuring the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, on 10-Sep-07. Changi Airport is the first airport in the world to launch an Olympics-themed shopping promotion, celebrating the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. This ten-week shopping promotion will be held at the Departure Transit Malls of Terminals 1 and 2 up till 11-Nov-07.

Mr Lim said, “CAAS is proud to roll out this unique shopping promotion at Changi Airport, which was conceptualised to allow our passengers to join in the excitement of the coveted Olympics. Passengers can look forward to taking home exclusive Olympics memorabilia designed specially for this promotion.” Mr Lim continued, “This shopping promotion is part of CAAS’ efforts to constantly refresh the shopping experience of our passengers. To this end, we regularly review and add variety to our retail and dining offerings so that our passengers are spoilt for choice when using Changi Airport.”

There are more than 80 food and beverage outlets and more than 160 retail shops in Terminals 1 and 2.
