LSG Sky Chefs secures Air New Zealand contract10-Sep-2007 |

Tags :Uncategorised LSG Sky Chefs commenced servicing two daily services operated out of London-Heathrow by Air New Zealand. The contract, which came into effect on 06-Sep-07, involves the supply of approximately 1,600 meals each day - equivalent to more than 580,000 meals a year. Tony Finlayson-Green, LSG Sky Chefs' Regional General Manager at London-Heathrow, said: "The contract between LSG Sky Chefs and Air New Zealand is great news for us - and reunites two business partners who have worked together very successfully in the past." The contract expands the global relationship between Air New Zealand and LSG Sky Chefs, which acts as the airline's base caterer in its home market. It also adds to a succession of new contracts for LSG Sky Chefs' London-Heathrow Customer Service Centre, which in recent months has announced a number of new clients, including Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Asiana Airlines and China Eastern Airlines. Air New Zealand currently operates two daily services from London-Heathrow to Auckland - one B747 via Hong Kong and another via Los Angeles. |
