Warsaw Chopin Airport launches Summer 2009 schedule

In the Summer 2009 schedule passengers traveling via Warsaw Chopin Airport will be offered several new services. New destinations will be added and services to popular holiday destinations resumed. The summer flight schedule will be effective from 29-Mar-09.



In May PLL LOT will add two direct services to their network: Beograde 5 times a week (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun) and Dniepropietrowsk, Wed and Fri at the beginning, and from June, also Mon and Sun.

Norwegian will launch an attractive new service starting 18-Jun: flights to/from Dubrownik once a week - on Thursdays.

Alitalia will initiate a new daily service to Mediolan Linate starting 29-Mar. Operated by PLL ‘LOT’, only Warsaw - Milan Malpensa service was available earlier.

TAP Portugal will launch service to Lisbon. Flights will be operated 5 times a week (Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun) starting on 10-Jun, and then every day from July to September. Last year the service on this route was provided by Centralwings.

Also the seasonal flights to popular holiday destinations will be resumed. In summer, Norwegian will take up the following services: Athens - twice a week (Thu and Sun) at the beginning, and 3 times a week from May to mid-September. Starting 18-Apr, there will be two weekly flights to Split (Wed, Sat), and to Varna (Mon, Fri).

From 13-Jun, Wizz Air will offer services to Burgas and Korfu on Saturdays.

Clickair, Spanish low-cost carrier, returns on Barcelona - Warsaw route after the winter break. Starting 31-Mar-09, flights will be operated twice a week - Tue and Sat.

Starting 31-Mar Jet Air, Polish regional carrier, will offer service to Berlin Tegel with a stopover in Bydgoszcz, three times a week (Tue, Wed, Thu).

From 01-Apr, Wizz Air transfers their flights to Bologne to Forli airport . The flights will be operated two times a week (Wed, Sat).
