Dnata seeks to provide ground handling

Dnata confirmed it will submit a proposal for a strategic partnership with the Airports Authority of India to offer ground handling services at Indian airports. The deadline for submission of proposals was April 30.

Dnata, the ground handling, ticketing and reservation arm of the Emirates Group, currently offers ground handling services at nine international airports, including Dubai, Singapore Changi, Guangzhou, and Karachi.

The government, as part of its privatisation programme, is in the process of modernising over 40 airports in India.
