Plus) is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Janitorial service contract for the Montreal-Trudeau International airport by Les Aéroports de Montréal. With this latest addition to an already impressive client roster, P.E.A.C.E. Plus is establishing itself as a premier janitorial firm. The Montréal-Trudeau International Airport alone represents an imposing two million square feet of surface, making it one of the city's largest commercial buildings and most challenging janitorial service assignment with its 12 million travellers, strict security procedures and 24/7 operating hours. The three-year contract with two additional option years will commence as of September 1, 2010. "It has been hard to contain our excitement since being awarded the contract," said Mr. Nicholas Lazaris, President and Chief Operations Officer of P.E.A.C.E. Plus. "Adding our hometown airport, and such a beautiful Montreal landmark to our growing list of clients is an honour and is also a gratifying boost of confidence for the entire P.E.A.C.E. family. It's a tribute to our dedication and hard work." While the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport became the first airport facility attested Go Green Plus in Canada, a certification awarded by BOMA Québec acknowledging efforts made to improve a building's environmental performance, P.E.A.C.E. Plus has also been following a "green" tradition as a company since 1992 and has become a leader in implementing environmental initiatives throughout its organization. "We are very pleased to be considered a partner with Les Aéroports de Montréal in its promotion of environmental stewardship," said Mr. Menashi Mashaal, Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of P.E.A.C.E. Plus. "Les Aéroports de Montréal and P.E.A.C.E. Plus share the same commitment to the protection of the environment and sustainable development, and we have both taken concrete steps towards reducing our respective environmental footprints." Along with Les Aéroports de Montréal, P.E.A.C.E. Plus' current list of clients includes McGill University, Le Palais des Congrès de Montréal, La Société Immobilière du Québec, Hydro-Québec and Cossette Communications among many others. "Taking on a project as large and as important as the Montreal-Trudeau Airport requires significant capital investment and dedicated employees" said Mr. Fred Mashaal, Treasurer of P.E.A.C.E. Plus. "Fortunately, we possess both the financial and human resources that we need to succeed," said Mr. Theodore Lazaris, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. |
