Tags :US The Houston Airport System (HAS) is celebrating a new and improved William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) on July 16, 2010. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will celebrate the significant milestones already reached in a $250 million remodeling project. This project includes a new ticketing area, renovated lobby and three art pieces. Media wishing to attend the event must contact the Houston Airport System media hotline for clearance at (281) 233-1234. On the morning of the event, media should arrive by 8:30 a.m.; a HAS representative will be stationed at the main lobby entrance to assist members of the media in finding the ribbon cutting location.
