Delhi International Airport awards UFIS Airport Solutions and Siemens Information Systems JV a airport automation solutions contract

UFIS-AS has partnered with SISL to offer a range of products and services focused around the UFIS product range.

This is the third Indian airport to have chosen the UFIS solution with operations due to start at the new greenfield airports in Bangalore and Hyderabad in 2008.

The UFIS systems will start to come online in Delhi in the first quarter of 2008 with the UFIS Flight Information Processing System, Airport Operational Database (AODB) and Flight Information Display System modules leading the way. Apron Control Operations covering the international and domestic terminals will use UFIS in a new purpose-built Control Centre.

A second phase will see the delivery of the UFIS Resource Management System (RMS) module.
