easyJet has renewed and expanded its agreement with Airline Services Ltd (ASL) for provision of de-icing services at airports throughout the UK.

easyJet has announced (23-Mar-09) plans to bring forward its expansion at Manchester Airport, which will see the start date to its four new routes to Corfu, Athens, Bastia and Dalaman brought forward from August to 21-May-09.

The European Commission has agreed (10-Mar-09) to allow inefficient, poorly-run airlines to hoard valuable airport landing slots rather than allowing unused slots to be returned to the many European airlines that are ready, willing and able to operate them.

easyJet announced that the High Court has approved the application for a Judicial Review of the regulatory process that allowed BAA to impose an exorbitant increase in airport charges at Gatwick Airport last spring.
